I moved to Hawaii in 2008 to be closer to my sister who was already living out here. I had just graduated from high school in Ohio and didn't have a clue what to do next so a "3 month stay" in Hawaii seemed innocent and fun. Little did I know I would fall in love with sweet smells of Hawaii Nei, blissful touch of the ocean, and her magnificent culture I didn't understand yet. After two years at Kapiolani Community College I enrolled in their massage therapy program. To this day that is still probably the best my body has ever felt. Getting to practice with my classmates meant I was getting massage 3x a week for 11 months! The program was a step in the right direction for me and gave me confidence to practice massage with many different modalities in my tool belt. After becoming licensed in 2011 I've had the opportunity to travel and study at Wat Po Traditional Massage School and years later had the opportunity to learn under Kevin Kishida at Ola I Ka Pono. My massage style continues to grow with every client I meet. I describe it as a mixture of Lomi Lomi and Swedish massage. I also utilize tradition Chinese fire cupping on a regular basis as well as foot reflexology, trigger point and myofascial release.
I finished my Private Pilots License in 2021 and continue to further a future career in aviation.
I enjoy going out on FV Lily Girl II with my love to catch fish. We have been perfecting our recipes for poke, sushi and fish tacos.
I love to explore the culinary arts and create new recipes but overall just eat well. Cooking is my favorite form of self-care.
I have my PADI Divemaster certification after working at a dive shop in Waikiki many moons ago.
